That time we met Lena Headey..!

We weren't working today so we cleaned our place and then went out to hike (which ended up taking an absurdly long time) and run some errands. We were at Bed Bath & Beyond picking out a shower mat when, in mid conversation, Luce turned to Han and said in the most forceful-yet-silent whisper imaginable "OHMYGOD THAT'S CERSEI!!" Ahhh!! What?!! Lena Headey just happened to be in the same Bed Bath & Beyond as us!!! Ohmygosh UNREAL!! We took a few seconds to catch our breath before casually following her around the store trying to think of what to say..! She was also on the phone which made it even more of a challenge, so we waited over by the exit, casually browsing through utensils, until she came to check out. We joined the line behind her and LUCKED OUT because there was a bit of a hold up - they didn't have the fan she wanted on the floor of the store, so a guy went to the back to get one for her - aaand while we waited, this magical, legendary, AMAZING conversation happened: 

Lena: Sorry to hold up the line..

Han: Oh no that's totally fine! Can we just say we absolutely love you in the show!

Lena: Yes, of course you can!

Luce: We're huge fans of the show and you're absolutely phenomenal

Han: Your acting's amazing

Lena: Thank you.. There's not really anything else to say except thank you!

*we laugh*

Lena: Are you girls Australian?

Han & Luce: Yeah we are!

Lena: I can tell the difference because I'm British but people are always like, 'are you..Australian..?'

Han: Yeah! Over here people always ask if we're British!

Lena: But the accents don't sound at all the same! 

Luce: Yeah!

Han: They're completely different

Lena: So where were you living in Australia?

Han: We lived in Canberra -

Luce: - not very exciting..

Lena: Oh, I've never been there

Han: You can probably give it a miss! 

(we, including Lena, laugh ohmygod!! LENA HEADEY LAUGHED AT OUR JOKE)

 - other register man interjects -

Man: I can ring you up over here

(Us in our minds 'noooo')

- he rung us up as quickly as possible. Luce punched in that pin number like a champ. On the way out -

*Lena smiles at us*

Han & Luce: Lovely talking to you!

Lena: You too, bye!

Han: Best of luck with the rest of the show and everything!

Luce: Bye!

Oh. My. God. She was sooo nice, beautiful, and incredibly humble in real life! She was also tiny!! Super thin and no taller than us, crazy! We didn't think it'd be appropriate to ask for a photo with her, but you can hardly tell this one's not authentic... ;)

Hahaha it was such a classically amazing LA moment, so incredible!! We CANNOT WAIT to see next week's episode now, couldn't be more in love with Game of Thrones after that wonderfully perfect encounter! Wow!!
